Physical venue staff guide

Train door staff and event teams to run Checkify QR age and human checks — no ID photocopies, no personal data on clipboards.

1. Print or display the QR code

Use the business dashboard QR print kit or display a Checkify Pass launcher on a tablet at the entry point.

2. Ask the customer to scan

Customers scan with the Checkify app, review the proof request, and approve on their device.

3. Confirm the result

Staff see approved or declined on the launcher screen or hear back from the workflow — never ask to photograph ID unless your policy requires it separately.

4. Handle declines calmly

If verification fails or expires, explain that the customer can retry. Do not collect extra personal data at the door.

5. Escalate issues to your manager

For technical problems, note the time and site name. Your admin can review activity in the dashboard — no raw identity data is shown.

Tips for managers

Run a test proof before opening hours. Keep QR codes visible and well lit. Rotate codes if your policy requires time-limited entry.
