GPL package (pkg_checkify.zip) with Connector, J2Commerce/J2Store age gate, VirtueMart age gate, and optional login, page, comments, and forms gates. Requires a Checkify business account.

Requires Joomla 4.4+, PHP 8.1+ (PHP 8.3+ recommended on Joomla 6), and a Checkify business account with a Pass ID. J2Commerce or VirtueMart is needed for commerce age gates.
Upload pkg_checkify.zip via System → Install → Extensions. Enable Checkify Connector. Enable Age Verification for J2Commerce or VirtueMart when needed. Optional gate plugins install disabled until you turn them on.
Open Checkify Connector, enter your Pass ID, generate a connection QR, approve in the Checkify app, then Save and Test connection.
In the age plugin, enable checks, set minimum age, choose restricted categories, and keep fallback mode on Block checkout for production.
Use a private browser window, add a restricted product, and confirm checkout shows the Checkify QR until verification completes.
This extension connects to Checkify (https://checkify.me) over HTTPS to connect your site and run verification sessions. It sends site domain, install public key, Pass ID, and verification session data. The site uses an HttpOnly cookie (checkify_state_id) and short-lived browser sessionStorage for QR state. Checkify may be free, trial, or paid depending on your plan. Passport images, selfies, and raw date of birth are not stored on your Joomla site.
Create a Checkify business account, add a digital site with your store domain, and copy your Pass ID from the dashboard.
