GoHighLevel staff guide

For agency staff and sub-account admins: connect Checkify to GHL, send verification links, and read contact field updates.

1. Connect the sub-account

In the Checkify dashboard, open Integrations → GoHighLevel. Paste the location ID and private token, or complete OAuth if your agency uses marketplace install.

2. Provision custom fields

Save the connection once — Checkify creates the custom fields GHL needs for verification status and proof results.

3. Add the workflow action

Copy the workflow template from the dashboard and paste it into your GHL automation. Map the Checkify fields to your pipeline stages.

4. Send a test contact

Run one contact through the workflow. Confirm the verification link arrives and the contact updates when the customer approves in Checkify.

5. Monitor in Checkify activity

Approved and declined proofs appear in Checkify activity — use this for billing and support, not GHL notes with personal data.

Troubleshooting

If contacts stop updating, re-check the location token, confirm billing is active in Checkify, and verify the workflow still maps Checkify custom fields after GHL template changes.
